Cernel is an AI-powered platform that automates SEO content for e-commerce. Their AI co-workers generate and publish product and category texts at scale, helping large webshops stay competitive without manual effort.
They came to us with a working MVP and a powerful idea. But like many early-stage products, the UX and structure hadn’t kept pace with the ambition. Features were taking shape quickly, and the engineering team was growing. The challenge was to bring clarity to a complex product while maintaining momentum.
Over the course of three months, we worked closely with the Cernel founders to redesign the platform, define core features, and shape the system behind the interface.
We needed to make sense of how different pieces of the platform fit together, help users understand what the AI was doing, and ensure the entire system could grow with them. That meant not just redesigning screens, but thinking deeply about how the product actually worked.

We kicked off the collaboration with a series of in-depth product workshops to align on goals, workflows, and use cases. Together with the Cernel team, we mapped out the platform’s information hierarchy, refined core features, and explored ways to make the AI’s output more transparent and actionable for users.
From there, we redesigned key screens, created a scalable design system, and wrote detailed implementation guidelines to support their newly hired engineers. Throughout, we worked closely with the founders, giving feedback, raising questions, and acting as a strategic design partner.

By the end of the project, Cernel had a fully redesigned platform. One with clearer structure, stronger UX, and a design language that could support both users and engineers. We didn’t just leave them with polished screens; we delivered a flexible design system, detailed implementation guidelines, and a clearer product foundation their team could build on.
The engineering team was able to move faster, onboard new developers with less friction, and maintain consistency as the product evolved. Just as importantly, the Cernel team felt ownership of the result, because they had been part of shaping it every step of the way.
Our collaboration helped Cernel move from early traction to a more mature, focused platform, and gave their team the tools to keep growing with clarity and confidence.
